At Elevate Composites, we don’t just make tools—we solve the problems that every hardworking construction pro faces day in and day out. We’ve been there. For eight years, we ran one of the largest handyperson businesses in the country, with nearly 1,000 team members hustling to get the job done right.
Our biggest problem: Tools weigh too damn much. We’ve felt the strain—literally.
If you’ve ever ended a long day on-site with a sore back, rotator cuff injuries, or a tweaked hamstring from hauling heavy gear, you know exactly what we’re talking about. Tools are supposed to make the work easier—not be the reason you need an ice pack and a day off.
So, we asked ourselves: What would it take to build a full kit of tools that didn’t wreck your body and weighed under 20 pounds?
That question led us to rethink everything. We’re designing tools that work as hard as you do, but without weighing you down. Our first project? Ladders. Because let’s face it, no one’s getting nostalgic about carrying a clunky 60-pound ladder up three flights of stairs.
